A player-centred, community focussed netball club that supports wholesome competition and personal growth.
"Our 2024/2025 season saw a record number of league champion wins, tournament wins and other big successes across the court! I’m really pleased to Chair the Club for the third year running. We have approximately 50 members in the heart of Ilkeston, comprising 6 teams across 6 different leagues. We are really proud of our continued ‘back to netball’ training programme as well as our advanced section playing against DANA level teams.
Please get in touch for your first FREE training session if you think that you want to get back into netball after a break or you’re a player that is looking for a higher level of play.
Take a look at our social platforms to see what we get up to in training, on court as well as having many social events throughout the year. Come join the Bees family and see what we’re all about!"
- Sophie Archibald, Queen Bees Chair

The 25/26 season is in full swing 🐝
The club is currently full, but you’re still more than welcome to get in touch and join our waiting list. As spots open up throughout the season, we bring new Bees in quickly!
We’re also actively looking for experienced defenders to help strengthen some of our more advanced teams, so if that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Your first training session is FREE!
🐝 Ready to join us? We’d love to hear from you!

Queen Bees Netball Club was established in 2009. With members playing across six teams, we have built strong foundations in the local community.
Our 6 teams train weekly at Rutland Sports Park in Ilkeston (DE7 5GH) and play matches each week in a variety of leagues across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Whether you’re returning to netball through a ‘back to netball’ league or aiming to play at a higher level, you’ll enjoy training with experienced coaches who help build confidence and refine your skills.

We’re proud to celebrate 15 incredible years since our founding this year! Affiliated with England Netball, we play in events across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and last season saw us compete in a record number of tournaments and charity matches.
We’re starting this season stronger than ever, with more teams and exciting plans, including a netball weekend away. Our focus remains on delivering high-quality training to help our players and coaching team get the most out of every session.
Here’s to an unforgettable year for the Queen Bees! 🏐💛
