“This season Blacks re-entered the Friesland league, one of the toughest league in the area! Blacks were thrilled to win five of their matches, a club record!! Blacks also had many close scoring matches to finish a strong 8th position. With court relationships strengthening each season Blacks look to be in a in strong position for the summer season.” Carly

“End of the season for Yellows, and it saw us finishing in 7th. My aim was 6th/7th or 8th. So we are really happy with that. We have been 5th for a lot of the season, but unfortunately a couple of teams stepped up 2nd time around and it meant we dropped down a couple of places. We only allowed 558 goals in, which puts us in 4th place for goals against, we had our highest scoring game we’ve ever had, at 55 goals. We dealt with multiple injuries, especially in the shooting end and we tried out lots of combinations, making us realise we are an amazingly versatile team! We have a big squad but we work together and it's the whole squad that wins the game, not just the 7 on court.” Emma

“Buzzers had a great winter season! It certainly had its ups and downs with some very close games. We finished 5th, which is a Buzzers record! We developed a strong, consistent team which really found its flow and continued to grow in strength week on week. Going forward we will continue to work on our set plays and maintain consistency across the court. We can’t wait to see what summer brings!” Laura C

“Stripes have had more new players join the team this season which has allowed them to formulate a good team structure on court. They have developed relationships on and off court strengthening the team enormously. Stripes finished second in the league, only a couple of points behind the well tuned Hoops team. The commitment to training and drive to improve Stripes means we are setting our sights on a 1st place win next season! Good luck!” Sarah
